This afternoon Donald Trump announced Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate. In response, Food & Water Action Deputy Director Mitch Jones issued the following statement:

Among the countless reasons that Trump and Vance shouldn’t be elected to lead our country, the duo represent an existential threat to a livable climate future for all Americans and people around the globe.
